2 Golden Mystery Snails. These snails will be between pea size up to the size of a nickel. Golden mystery snails are large and colorful snails that belong to the Ampullariidae family and the Pomacea genus. They have a siphon, gills, and a lung that allow them to breathe in and out of water. They are peaceful and active scavengers that clean algae and substrate in freshwater aquariums or ponds. These snails glide gracefully across the aquarium and present a yellow skirting. They are non violent and can be kept with any non-violent aquatic life. (Crayfish and some fish will eat the snails)
